Services

I am a registered clinical social worker. My undergraduate degrees are in Physical Education from the York University and a Social Work degree from McGill University. I also have a Masters degree in Counselling from Gonzaga University.

I am an experienced clinician with over 35 years’ experience in the Mental Health and Substance Abuse field. I have had the honour of working with people 5-85 years. I believe I have learnt as much from them as they have from me.  My work within Health authorities, non- profits and hospitals have given me a range of skills and perspectives.

Counselling

I predominantly work online with the double encrypted Canadian virtual platform called OWL Practice. There are no APPS to download.

I work with young adults 17+ and adults experiencing a wide variety of both clinical and non-clinical concerns including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression and low mood, stress, life transition difficulties, self-esteem, trauma, and other mental health concerns and conditions. I welcome all races, religions, genders and sexual orientations. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) Tapping, Critical Incident Debriefing, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focussed Therapy, and draw from other therapeutic modalities based on my clients presenting concerns, goals and needs.
